To answer the first question in as much details to reach the 20 sentence mark I will begin by breaking the first question into 2 parts, 'How does your product use or challenge conventions' being the first. In typical commercials, lotion commercials to be more specific, I've notice many conventions that can be found a large range of lotion/moisturizing commercials. For starters, most of them typically star a famous celebrity or a well known public figure whos typically an older actress. For example, the Aveeno commercial who stars 51 year old Jennifer Aniston who has several awards or another example would the recent Olay commercial who stars 41 year old Elizabeth Jean Philipps. I challenge convention by staring non- celebrity 16 year old Male....
Scene 1: Person (Being main actor) will have on athletic clothing is squatting in front of house. Getting ready to run. Scene 2: In the second scene, pe rson with athletic clothing will be running on a track/park. Scene 3: In this 3rd scene, p erson Early morning will be applying lotion. Scene 4: In the 4th scene, there will be voiceover of someone explaining the pros and cons of this specific moisturizing lotion, and the lotion will be on a counter top. Scene 5: In one of the final scenes, the main character (person) will be on a desk with a laptop ready for the rest of the day. Scene 6: This will be a closing scene, in this scene the cataphile bottle will be at center and will close with a reverse zoom of the lotion bottle.
I am deciding to do a CETAPHIL commercial.
